Feminism has existed for centuries and still exists, despite changes in the world. Furthermore, women's movements have been going on for centuries, but they do not claim to be a "feminist" group. Women wanted equal rights for women and they wanted to make a statement, so they protested, they defended themselves, they held conferences and movements. The women's movement did not only deal with issues affecting women. Fortunately, women from diverse backgrounds have come together with issues such as race, education, and working in the industry.
