The management and functions of a company For my business studies courses we had to create our own mini-business within the confines of the school. The course describes how a group of 14 girls from Chily High School for Girls joined small groups of about 14 students and started their own business. The aim of the course was to help us understand how a business is run and how it works. To raise capital for our business, each group member contributes a small amount of money each week. As long as everyone donated the same amount of money, they would get an equal share of the profits or losses made. in its environment, internal organization, etc. they also had to be mature and responsible people, willing to contribute time and effort to the company. Our first meetings played an important role in this because they were the basis of all success for the future of our business.
