The Bavarian Illuminati, commonly known as the Illuminati, was founded on May 1, 1776 by Adam Weishaupt in Ingolstadt (commonly known as Upper Bavaria). The word “Illuminati” comes from the Latin word “illuminatus” which means enlightened. The Illuminati was thought to be a separate branch of the Freemasons. Many of the Illuminati chapters are said to have stemmed from Masonic lodges that existed before the birth of the Illuminati. The Illuminati are known to be very secretive. The time the Illuminati developed it was during the Enlightenment period. Many goals of people and groups were to spread knowledge. The Illuminati were against religion, mainly the Catholic Church, superstition and state power. The main goal of the Illuminati was to eliminate the power that the Catholic Church had over everyone, especially the government. They wanted to eliminate capitalism and replace it with communism, through the New World Order. The New World Order is basically about having one world government that controls everything. In 1777 the ruler of Bavaria banned all secret societies, including the Illuminati. March 2, 1785 marked the effective end of the existence of the original Bavarian Illuminati. During the process of banning the Illuminati the founder, Weishaupt, fled and was never heard from or seen again and all documents were seized in 1786 and 1787 by the government, making the organization no longer so secret. proof enough that the original Bavarian Illuminati lasted beyond 1785 - it's a very hot topic in today's society. Many people think of the Illuminati as a conspiracy theory. Some people blame major events on the Illuminati. Events such as: the JFK assassination, 9/11, the......middle of paper......and in the Bavarian Illuminati because there is evidence, documents and conclusive facts and history that they actually existed. I don't believe the Illuminati has lasted or existed since 1785 when they were banished from society. I believe people tried to create the modern Illuminati just to corrupt people's minds. I don't believe the Illuminati had anything to do with significant world events like the JFK assassination and the Princess Diane incident. The term "Illuminati" is used to distract our minds from the truth of certain events in history.
