Topic > What's really in our foods? - 1466

Have you ever wondered why wherever you go; are there obese individuals, who in turn all we have to help this fight are diet programs like the Nutria system, Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers? As you can see, people nowadays are lazy, they don't want to work to feel better; they want to eat a magical food without thinking twice, even if it is scientifically proven that a balanced meal and daily physical activity make you lose these extra kilos. So I ask myself the question, “What is really in our food?”, because not only are unnatural foods in any shape and form unhealthy, but they also pose a danger to our bodies. Over a period of time the human body can develop a number of diseases when it takes in too much artificial food, these diseases can include cancer, ADHD and obesity. The human body is made to digest the Earth's natural nutrients, whether meat, grains, herbs or crops. The question is: do we really want to know what we are consuming? Over the years, many scientists have worked hard in laboratories trying to figure out which chemically engineered products we would prefer, in terms of taste, scent, texture or appearance. Companies care more about the richness of the product than the well-being of our planet. Scientists load the product with the preferred amount of salt, sugar and/or fat, just so the consumer can purchase the item. The dyes in food alone are so unnatural that they could cause serious complications in children. Since you are now aware of all these unreasonable things happening, are you curious about what all the packaged food in your pantry ingredients list means? Many food labels are what I call dangerous cover-ups and deceptions that make you think one thing and consume... middle of paper... choose a packaged blueberry muffin instead of a brownie, you are actually getting the same as the brownie. Blueberries are made with chemicals, corn syrups, and other artificial substances, all for the purpose of extending their shelf life. Don't be foolish or naive; expand your knowledge about what happens inside you. Be responsible for your life. Fight for what is right and just plain immoral. Did you know that when you die and decompose, all the chemicals and impurities in your system would remain the same for thousands or maybe even millions of years? I bet generations to come will look back at the irresponsible life we lived and think how ignorant we were doing this to ourselves. Please just think about everything I shared with you, because if I helped at least one person open their eyes to this problem, I would have reached my point of view.
