Lester Joseph Gillis also known as Baby Face Nelson was a notorious bank robber and murderer. Nelson was born on December 6, 1908 in Chicago. His parents emigrated from Belgium, while his father worked in the cattle pen and his mother gave French lessons to schoolchildren.
