Inequality: The battle still rages in our country, hidden just beneath the surface. Does inequality occur when a minority individual fails to gain admission to a job/college? Does it occur when members of the higher-skilled majority society come second to under-skilled ethnic groups? Admission should be based on individual merit rather than ethnicity. However, affirmative action stands in the way. Strongly oppose affirmative action, I tell you! Support its abolition before it causes further harm to society. Affirmative Action is a set of policies and a mindset that takes into account gender, race and ethnicity in order to achieve “equal opportunity”. In other words, Affirmative Action tells businesses and universities that they must admit the same amount of ethnic people as white men, regardless of individual merit or potential. President Kennedy issued Executive Order 10925 requiring government officials to "take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are hired and that employees are treated in the course of employment regardless of their rights"....
