Women and the draft have always been considered the dominant sex. Looking back throughout history, women have been the ones who take care of the home and children, while men are the ones who work and go to war. However, in recent years there is no doubt that women have become much more equal in the world of work. Yet it is still men who are forced to fight our wars when the moment demands it. Many think that women should be completely equal to men who are denied the possibility of being drafted, but the fact is that they are physically disadvantaged, too emotionally oriented, and increasing the presence of women would have a more negative impact in the military in the way of social interactions. In the military, physical strength and endurance are an important element for almost every task. Having endurance and sustainable strength is very vital in many cases, but especially in the combat zone. Men are physically stronger and can tolerate more than women naturally. Hypothetically, if there was a situation where a troop was injured and needed to be carried out of a combat zone, it would make more sense for a man to carry the troop out because he can tolerate the burden more easily than a woman. Women are made to have children, and although they are capable of lifting heavy loads and have remarkable stamina, their level is different than men. Looking back, men have always been hunters, gatherers, and ultimately the ones who do all the physical labor. After decades of these physical lifestyles that men have endured and the stay-at-home lifestyle that women have learned to achieve, it is clear that the order of nature has spoken. The normality that women are the only ones who can bear children and men gain strength more easily... middle of paper... being authority is hard to see and accept for most. If a woman were in a leadership position, it may be difficult for men to take orders. It's not what people have come to know in our society, so change is hard to accept in this case. If women cannot be heard and respected, they cannot have the choice to be taken away and forced to serve in the military where they already do not want to be and have difficulty being accepted. past and present it is evident that women are still not equal even if they hold the title. Men are evidently stronger and have a different mentality in situations than women. This is not to say that women should not be in the military, but they should have the choice so that they can accept responsibility and train mentally and physically to gain the responsibility and respect needed to fight for our country..
