Theories about what the future of computer technologies might look like are not a guaranteed future, in much the same way that modern technology would have surprised humanity ten years ago. In the span of just a decade, the world has already made great strides with computers; not only to advance the capability of computers, or the ease of living for humanity, but for the assistance of an entire planet to the health and safety of people, with how much has changed with computer technology there seems to be little change left to do, yet innovation has led to things that have saved lives and allowed entire generations of people to live longer, fuller lives. Without advanced forms of computer technology, the world may never have achieved such amazing results in such a short period of time. Whatever the world of the future may be, there is one thing that every person who gets there will say about the future: it is different. If there was an absolute for all time, it would have to be that things change; the world changes, and no matter what the causes of that change are, very few people will know about it before it arrives. Whether it's the first or last person to know what it is, the future of computer technology will advance far beyond what has already been accomplished in the past decade.
