No one is judged on where they come from, the only thing that matters is your grades and test scores. They should speak for themselves and help you succeed. There is not a gap created by having a fancy school on your transcript. Having a private school on your transcripts creates a bold, italic font for that person that stands out between a normal person with a normal font. Destroying all those who promote a level playing field is a huge disadvantage to those who can't afford it. Some would say that those who attend private schools are nothing more than rich, flashy people trying to prove that their children are better than local minority inner-city school kids, but there should be no price to pay for education when it is provided free of charge by the school system.
