Not all teachers possess the recognizable attributes of a master teacher. An experienced teacher must know how to express enthusiasm for learning, must have the ability to personally touch our lives, must know how to encourage us to have high goals, and must know how to help us achieve these goals. I have had many teachers over the years, but I know one who possesses these qualities. And from her I learned what I would need to become an expert teacher.
