When we hear about fascism, Germany and Italy come to mind on the basis that the leaders of these countries caused the worst outcomes that affected almost the entire world. Today, however, most people believe that fascism is no longer a threat and there will be no leader who will like Mussolini or Adolf Hitler, but I strongly believe that fascism still poses a danger and new leaders may arise in Europe fascists like in Turkey. But what is fascism and do leaders really play an important role? I think we should answer these questions first. Fascism can refer to the general social movement of right-wing revolutionary conservatism in Europe. The term "fascist" was first applied to a political movement that combined ultranationalism with hostility and conservatism by Mussolini in 1919. The first fascist movements occurred in Italy during World War I and combined right-wing positions and elements of the politics of left. Fascists seek to reunite their nation through a totalitarian state that has developed the enormous mobilization of the nation community. Fascism in Europe arose and spread rapidly due to the First World War which left behind a very complex and spatial void. Europe was shaken by violent political and economic convulsions and in half of Europe the old conservative order had disappeared. The moral values ​​of yesterday's world had disappeared and the middle class had become very poor. Indeed, the last vestiges of civilization seemed threatened by a new and very popular phenomenon called Bolshevism. Those who believed that strong leadership and a new order were necessary but those who found communism unacceptable wanted a political alternative and that was fascism. Fascism was nationalist, elitist and anti-liberal and also... mid-paper... to show these journalists as an enemy of the state in the people's mind. Therefore, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister, sees these journalists as an enemy against him, in fact he tried to present them as terrorists. That said, in 2010, journalists established "Platform for Journalists' Freedom" and organized a press release to state that there is a problem in terms of freedom of speech and press. In addition to this, the government also exerted oppression on media leaders. An important example for this, during the Gezi occupation, which is a huge demonstration that created significant inflation against the government, most of the media did not mention these problems, especially, at the beginning of the demonstrations, the people he couldn't see these demonstrations on TV. What I want to say, as you can clearly see that the government has repressed the media in a very similar way to fascism.
