The so-called “Takers Story”, presumably summarizes the core of Daniel Quinn's novel “Ishmael”, which defines a certain way in which human beings act, and from which it derives the question: “how did things end like this”. Because it establishes a story that our society lives in a world of superiority and inferiority, it establishes the fact that we are in prison. That prison holds people captive. That prison is you, me and them, in the story of the kidnappers. The prison is symbolically the story in which humans are forced to enact, the “hijacker story,” in which the “kidnappers” themselves live a patriarchal life of domination and oppress those who are inferior to them. The assumption that there are people inferior to us, therefore subordinate to us, is seen in many different ways as well as within the human race. Just as some people feel more than others, the same is felt with non-human living beings on this planet. Animals are the main target of possession. Most of the time they don't matter when it comes to suffering. There is a very important premise at the beginning of the novel that completely contributes to the meaning of the novel as a whole. It is an assumption that captures people's distorted thoughts. It shows exactly what the book focuses on. People have very strong reactions to certain things that are out of the ordinary. For most people, there was enormous discomfort and confusion at first with a gorilla playing the role of teacher. The gorilla had to teach according to the book. He was going to be the smart one in the novel. In other words, he was like a wise man with wisdom. It was assumed that the text was misunderstood because there is no way in the world that a gorilla, a kind of animal, can teach us and... in the middle of the paper... man is the one capable of doing the job because the women are not smart enough. The other important reason is that all these occupations have some sort of power and the mentality is that men have the power. In a patriarchal society, men control women, and in the past this was extreme abuse. This type of oppression is the type of inequality that has always been faced. It happens to everyone, African Americans, Latinos, Asians, women and even men. The fact that people think they have power over others and are 100 times better is what destroys our community on earth. The fact is that, in addition to the existence of dominant groups and subordinate groups, there doesn't necessarily have to be the one at the top? Isn't there that group that must be the most powerful? In fact there must be because then who came up with those ideas in the first place?
