“Those winter Sundays” had a sad and painful tone compared to “Genesis” which has a more pleasant and optimistic tone. One of the reasons I chose to look at the poems in the family album was how different each poem would be. Just like in real life, everyone has a different life story due to their families. Family life is an important part of life and I liked how the author of the poem was able to reflect on his childhood when he grew up. Both of these poems were about the son-father relationship, but about the family as a whole.
