However I always enjoy a challenge and I have definitely been able to practice my time management skills. I really liked the question of the day because after class, and even during the day, I thought about it. For example, once during class we were asked whether funeral arrangements had been considered for us or our parents. Later that week, I found myself discussing this topic with my longtime significant other and my mother. I recognized that this question is not something to think about temporarily this semester, it is a real situation that will need proper consideration when I address it eventually. Another question of the day that stood out was when we were asked to take care of business before we die knowing we had a short time to live. I remember being stuck answering this question because it's something I should really think about, an entire lesson isn't enough. I appreciated that the teacher shared her personal stories and experiences regarding death and dying to also serve as a juxtaposition to the lecture topics. I couldn't help but feel empathy and wonder how the teacher must have felt discussing these topics as they hit home. That said, I also enjoyed my classmates' involvement in the course discussions.
