My Five Year Plan After Graduation Five years after graduation I plan to earn a master's degree in law enforcement. Right now I'm not really sure what I really want to do for the rest of my life. The only thing I like to do is find clues and discover the criminal in crime books. I know I love doing it, it makes me want a position as a detective or something to do with the FBI. I think it's very likely that I will go to university. If I do that, I'll go to the University of Phoenix. I attend the University of Phoenix for several reasons, but ultimately I will go to college to become a detective. I want to be successful and rich so that I can have all the good things in life. I want to be able to have a family without stress and financial worries. My entire life, my mother has worked and continues to work two or three jobs just to make ends meet. That's not where I want to be with my future. I want the feeling of comfort that no matter what happens, I will have the money to take care of it. I don't exactly need a luxurious lifestyle, but I would like to partake in a life of nicer cars, extravagant house, and cash in the bank. So, I guess I'd like to have a few dollars after all. It is often difficult to grow up without a significant amount of money in the family. I will make sure my husband (who will work just like me) and my kids don't have to go through this. From a more selfish point of view, I also want to get out of that whole situation. I would like to drive expensive cars and wear clothes, and most importantly, I always want to have money in my pocket. Like everyone else, I just want a good life. Besides all this, a master's degree or any type of degree is good for any application. Many more doors open for you if you have a college degree instead of just a high school diploma. With the popularity of college lately, there is a lot more competition in the workforce. With a degree you would not only have this look on your applications, but you would also have the knowledge you would need to get the right job. A university or college is my chance to make something of myself, no one in my immediate family has I graduated yet, so I would like them to be proud of me for this achievement. I thought I would become a professional basketball player, but I'm too slow and not... mid-paper ......ell I plan to receive an academic scholarship, get student loans, and borrow money from a relative. I can get an academic scholarship by being in the top 5% of William B. Travis Highschool in the class of 2007. I can get student loans by applying to College Funding Services. I will receive my money quickly and will not make payments until after graduation. Also I have a grandparent who says he can pay some of my college money. College will begin my life with one foot ready to take the leap because my career will take off right away. All in all I will be going to college for three main reasons. My immediate family is a reason why I want them to be proud of me for doing something right for once. My future family is too because I want to be happy and always feel comfortable for an important part of my life. Ultimately for my personal financial well-being, so I can indulge in all the luxuries I want for myself. Going back to the first line, all these things are part of my future. After all, isn't that what college is for: to prepare people for their futures and what they bring? University is not my future, it's just the beginning.
