The programming language I decided to use is the Java platform. The aim of this project is to develop a smartphone application using augmented reality. The application would cover the book area, where a user can place the smartphone on the book which would be placed on a shelf. This app would provide additional details about the issuer, the book's author, and more. This project would use augmented reality and provide users with a unique and different experience. The application will be interactive and easy to use. This application is designed to help those who come to the library or need to know the details of a book, simply by placing their smartphones on it. It gives users a different view of books and the ability to get information simply by using a (supporting) phone. For the application to work, there are some requirements, the fundamental one is to choose the correct SDK to run it in the Android Market.
