The NFL has already made changes to how players can make contact with a defenseless player, but it does not address the issue as it should ( “NFL” np). Changes should be made that affect how long an athlete must sit out after sustaining a concussion to avoid further concussions. Additionally, trained personnel should be present at every game to reduce the amount of undiagnosed concussions which will increase player safety. These changes would make great strides in player protection and at the same time appeal to Americans by not further changing the contact rule that would facilitate this
