It is hard to believe that a country founded on honesty, hard work and good morals would be involved in lies, deception and manipulation. Since birth, as US citizens, there has always been an underlying theme of accepting things as they are. Questioning the way society works has never been popular. There are very few who actually go against the grain and offer inquisitions when they suspect that things are different from how they appear. Instead of dismaying skeptics or completely trusting the media, everyone should examine the facts individually and question the extent of government involvement and distorted truth in the lives of the American people, and particularly in the Sandy Hook case of December 14, 2012 One of the things that has become evident in the past is that gun control issues are pushed through various conspiracy theories; for example, the shooting in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. Skeptics believe that the massacre was a joint government and media operation to build support for repealing the Second Amendment (Stuart, 1). Logically, this actually makes sense. While it is easier to believe that what happened on December 14, 2012, was legitimate, it is possible that America was deceived. What better way to rally support for banning federal assault weapons than to create a scenario or situation that allows weapons to kill innocent children and touch the emotional hearts of millions of people around the world? Therefore, if the tragedy in question was actually an ingenious plan hatched by the people running the country of America, then it appears to have worked in their favor. After the shooting, Congress pushed for sweeping reforms.
