Ethics is basically the procedures of personal acts based on ideas or a person, on what is ethically good or bad and are a range of statistics involving these statistics. So basically, ethics are the rules a person sets for themselves about what is ethically right or wrong. They involve legal issues and if something is illegal, it does not always mean that it is unethical, consequently if something is ethical, it does not mean that it is legal. Where does ethics come from? Ethics are influenced by many demographics which include family influences, peer influences, past experiences, religion, and situations. People decide whether something is ethical and whether or not it is right or wrong based on these influences. Individuals decide whether something is ethical or unethical based on family influences because people absorb the ethical status or something of family members based on how our families act. Furthermore, individuals also conduct their decisions based on peer influence because classmates and friends around us usually influence a person's beliefs about what is right or wrong over time. Furthermore, people also decide whether something is right or wrong based on past experiences because they predict their benefits on the demographics that happened to them in the past. Furthermore, people choose some decisions based on religion because a person's religious beliefs usually inspire him or her about what is right or wrong. Finally, another way that people base their ethical decisions is based on the situations they find themselves in because people sometimes change their beliefs depending on the circumstances they find themselves in.
