In the meantime, I will be researching and applying for scholarships and grants. By April of next year, I should know which colleges have accepted me and I will evaluate my options (I hope I have options!). I will also prepare my graduation speech, possibly as valedictorian, and study for the IB exams. When I graduate from high school, I hope to have two diplomas: one for high school and one for the International Baccalaureate! Of course, this is just a basic one-year plan. There's no telling what might happen to me; what obstacles I might face and what opportunities they might open up for me. Whatever the case may be, I am ready to face this journey head on.
