One wireless carrier that at one point was the largest wireless cell phone carrier and has declined over the years is the Sprint Corporation. Sprint has had many ups and downs, but has made its mark so as not to become irrelevant. Sprint Corporation, which is also Sprint, is a telecommunications company present throughout America. They provide Internet carriers and wireless services. It became the fourth largest wireless network provider. The company is headquartered in Kansas. Sprint came from the Brown Telephone Company, founded in 1899. They merged with Nextel and it all went downhill from there. On December 11, 2012 Sprint purchased the stock interests of one of Clear Wires' stock holders which allowed them to not have two headquarters and move completely to Kansas. This move saved them a lot of money but did not help the morale of the company's employees. Sprint offers wireless and fixed voice and data services to customers in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands under the Sprint corporate brand, which includes the retail brands of Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile. Offering postpaid and prepaid wireless services to wholesale subscribers and affiliates. So training your employees to have exceptional customer service will help them retain their customers in the long run. Sprint is a company that has a lot of potential to do great things. They just have to find a way to make the right decision and have luck on their side. Next year will decide their fate in the wireless operator industry. If the government allows them to merge, this should be their first priority. In all honesty, they won't survive another 5 years at the rate they're headed at.
