Topic > Sony's Playstation 4 is better than Microsoft's Xbox...

Many people agree that Sony's Playstation 4 is better than Microsoft's Xbox One and vice versa. I've been playing since I was seven and still do today. The first gaming console I ever owned was the original Xbox. Over the years, however, the technology has improved significantly. The latest generation of gaming consoles has given the industry a much-needed boost and offered the consumer another good. With the arrival of the eighth generation of consoles, many people are wondering which console to buy. However, it's not just the choice of games. There are differences in processors, graphics cards, hard drives, designs, operating systems, ports, versatility, stability, controllers, and, of course, games. Microsoft has only been in this business for fourteen years. So far they have only created three consoles, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Their huge success with the Xbox 360 has put them at the forefront of the battle. Their most recent console, the Xbox One, was announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 in March of 2013 and released later that year in November. They told the world how revolutionary their console was with all its innovative features. The console, which weighs 6.3 pounds, is a monstrous device with 5 vents on each side of the console, runs nearly silently, and has almost no overheating issues. It looks like a retro VCR from the 1960s, many people believe it is a bad piece of hardware. Personally, I like the design of the console. It's big and heavy, which makes it feel like a sturdy piece of technology. Inside the beast is an 8-core AMD 64x processor that runs at 1.75 GHz and has a Direct X 11.1 graphics card that runs at 1.2 Teraflops. It also comes with 8GB of GDDR3 RAM and a 500GB H...... middle of paper......ware. From their powerful cores to their incredible gaming experiences, they don't just meet my console needs, but I have a choice to make. The Xbox One has the better games of the two and has a faster processor that beats that of the PS4 by 1GHz. It has a better camera, is structurally more stable than the Playstation 4, and runs slightly quieter. On the other hand the Playstation 4 has a slimmer design and has a more powerful GPU but a slower CPU. It doesn't have the games I want, but most of my friends buy it. I would like to own both consoles but I don't have time to play both so I'll have to make a decision. I decided to get the Playstation 4 for its greater versatility and greater amount of Indie games. The main reason though is that most of my friends buy this console. Although I hope to own both consoles one day.
