Censorship is Bad for Society. People can't learn from our mistakes if we hide them. People can't decide what the best option is if we say there are no options. People can't understand each other if they don't know what others think. People cannot mature when they are “protected” from mean words. People can't be themselves when they're censored. Censorship is the practice of officially examining books, films, etc. and to delete the unacceptable parts. Which parts are considered unacceptable depends entirely on the person viewing them. One person may censor violence, nudity, and certain types of language on television, while another may block the comments section on their social media page. All censorship is about taking something, obviously if you don't know in advance that someone is trying to annoy the crowd, you can't censor it live, so censorship wouldn't help in such a situation. These people are criminals and can be treated accordingly, and people have the right to know what is being said to influence their peers, so that they can prepare for any assault that may occur. To what extent should censorship be allowed? Censorship itself shouldn't be illegal, but it shouldn't be implemented by the government either. Censorship should be something that people and companies choose to do on their own, for their own reasons. The media should never be allowed to censor anything, because it is their job to provide information, not hide it. Companies should decide whether or not to apply censorship as a business model based on what they believe customers want, not based on some law that says one thing or another should never be seen or cannot be there. too much free speech, the more the better. Everyone, everywhere, should always have the right to say whatever they want. People should also have the opportunity to argue with people whose opinions they don't like. People can stop talking to someone they find offensive and can walk away. don't hurt people, despite current popular opinion. Free speech should not be limited by anything, it should simply be free. Some people will say horrible things, but when they say them to other people, they will think they are horrible and will never listen to them again. Laws against saying certain things don't protect anyone, they just hide people's true nature, until it's too late to do so.
