Much of the terrorism that occurs globally tends to have a connection to the Muslim community. When terrorist activity occurs, the media focuses on the Muslim community as the potential mastermind of the criminal act. In most parts of the world, people related to Muslim culture face a lot of discrimination considering their colleagues associate with terrorist activities. The main question is whether all the terrorist activities that take place are related to the Muslim community. The issue of Muslims involved in terrorist activities has a great influence from a political and cultural point of view. Most academics differ on the issue of Muslims being involved in terrorism and their main contribution to criminal activities. Some academics argue that other criminal groups indulge in terrorist activities and subsequently associate with the Muslim community. Most terrorist activities arise due to the contribution made by the Muslim community. In this article I will focus my argument by comparing and contrasting two articles regarding the issue of Muslim contribution to the terrorist activities that the world has recently experienced. Muslims contribute a lot to terrorist activities, as reported by the author of one of the articles known as Mehdi Semati. In his article, Semati illustrates that in November 2006, an unexpected act occurred at one of the international airports. About six Muslim imams were prevented from boarding a flight to Phoenix. Passengers and crew members on the flight from Minneapolis became suspicious of the behavior the six men were expressing. The crew called the airport police to intervene and they managed to arrest the six Muslim imams. Fortunately, if the six men intended to act with bad motives, the police managed to stop them. The law allows anyone to report any suspicious behavior that could endanger the lives of other people. The article written by Mahmood Mamdani Cleary shows that most of the terrorism-related activities stem from the contribution of the Muslim brothers. Mamdani illustrates that the activities that occurred on September 11 in the American country had a clear significance regarding Muslim contribution to terrorist activities. Although he maintains that there are good and bad Muslims, he accepts the fact that these men contribute a large percentage to the terrorist activities that occur globally..
