That aside, I think anyone who reads this book will agree with Nelson on most of his points and predictions. The only thing readers might disagree with is focusing on the urbanization of suburbs rather than the renewal of city centers. With many case studies and selected readings promoting reverse flight to cities, such as The Great Inversion, there is great influence on the gentrification of the country's central neighborhoods to stimulate economic growth. It is also evident that suburbs are starting to have the same negative effects that cities experienced before sprawl occurred; they are becoming poor and crime is increasing.
