The battle over what to consume has been debated since the Stone Age. Through those times and up to the present day, it begins at dawn. Eggs contain an untold amount of nutrients. The vitamins that eggs provide range from vitamin A to a range of B vitamins to a balance of minerals and proteins. For some, eggs are considered the “perfect food.” The reason for the nickname is due to the nutritional properties that eggs possess. Salmonella is acquired from bacteria found in raw foods which can cause food poisoning. The potential health risk however does not discourage h......middle of paper......from males and females. Eggs are also affordable. The average cost of whey protein in the store varies from 25 to 45 dollars. A carton of eggs at the supermarket can cost anywhere from $2 to $5. The health scales where the eggs are placed are quite high. For years there have been numerous stories and myths surrounding the pale oval shape. There are many benefits to eating eggs as part of a balanced diet. The egg is able to stand on its own and support a being all enclosed within the confines of its shell. The egg turns out to be a balance of proteins and vitamins which are the building blocks of muscle development and resistance. The variations in preparation have tantalized many breakfast eaters to devour their morning feast until they are full. It has been renowned by many as not only healthy and delicious, but as the perfect food to pair with it.
