Topic > Reflection Paper on Christianity - 938

I cannot and will not follow something because of a centuries-old book that was written by men (not by God, but they were influenced by him). However I digress. What I want to talk about is that one of the main reasons I have questioned Christianity is the attitude of my fellow Christians. There seems to be a sort of superiority complex not only towards Christians, but also towards religious people in general. I understand that not all people are like this, however when religion is criticized for having intolerant hypocrites, these are usually the type of people they are referring to. Many Christians condemn homosexuality as a sin and its practice. But I never understood this. Who cares if someone has a different sexual preference than you? Why is it so wrong to be different? And yes, I know, the Bible explains that marriage should be between a man and a woman, but that doesn't justify judging others based on their sexuality.
