Natalie A. Johnson-Leslie, author of "Effective vs. Ineffective Teachers Educating Our Children," stated that ineffective teachers have inadequate classroom and management skills (135). They can't control their students and they can't keep their classrooms quiet. As a result, the classroom atmosphere is usually too noisy for students to want to learn. Derrick Meador, a school administrator and author of “Qualities of Bad Teachers,” said teachers are not motivated to teach their students. They don't put much effort into their work. They never come to school early and stay late, they do not challenge students, they do not give homework regularly, they often give free days, they often show videos and they do not prepare for lessons. It is important to push students to study hard enough so that they do not become discouraged or panic. As stated by Strikwerda-Brown et al, the Edith Cowan University professors, “poor teachers were described as people who showed no respect. They were also deemed inconsistent, unreliable, and showed favoritism” (35). Poor teachers are not honest in their classrooms. Not only that, but they are insincere and rarely keep the promises they make to their students. Students never want to learn from fake teachers or prejudiced people. Students cannot be motivated to learn with teachers who are unfair, do not want to teach and lack organization
