Throughout the history of Christianity, we see many types of Christianity take hold through different forms of leadership and hierarchy. Each of them contains its own views, ideas and concepts about what Christianity should look like and what it should contain, while trying to maintain the very foundations of Christ's teachings. But as the world continues to age and grow, we begin to see the practices and factors of Christianity weaken due to the unnoticed acts of Jesus and his ideas of socio-cultural acceptance. Taking a look at the controversy over Chinese rites, I will argue for the importance of culture and the adaptation of culture in evangelical approaches.
