PURPOSE STATEMENTConstant change is the only immutable element in the evolution of individuals and societies. And when your chosen field falls into the world of computers, this statement resonates louder and clearer. In the world of computers, every day we witness a series of new concepts and products that become obsolete with each passing moment. This galloping pace of technological evolution has a direct impact on practical applications, making it mandatory for today's engineers to keep abreast of the latest developments. For this, research would be of prime importance with practical experience in real-time applications. My ambition is to work at the forefront of technology with the ability to find innovative solutions to changing needs. I firmly believe that an advanced graduate education is the best way to acquire the intellectual depth required for a specialized research career in computer science. My undergraduate studies at RMK Engineering College, Chennai, were the most important and influential part of my career. my educational life where I learned to think clearly, decide quickly and realize my visions perfectly. Some of the topics that fascinated me were databases and management systems, mobile computing, artificial intelligence, network encryption and security, C# and .NET Framework, Internet programming, operating systems, and computer networks. I thoroughly enjoyed understanding every single concept in my curriculum and always tried to put them into practice, which helped me score 87% in undergrad and secure first place in the computer science and engineering department of my college and 26th place in Anna University's college rankings. My favorite was Database and Management Systems. I was fasc... halfway through... regarding education and research at The Ohio State University, I would like to be considered for any research program under the supervision of Dr. Srinivasan Parthasarathy. My other research interest would be under the guidance of Dr. Arnab Nandi in Database. I want to learn more about their studies and research projects, as I intend to master current concepts in the rich and flexible academic environment of The Ohio State University. An admission into your University will provide me with the opportunity for a multidisciplinary and synergistic approach towards problem solving in computer science studies and I will have the chance to not only advance my academic career but also gain global experience that will help me to learn more about myself as a person and the true meaning of global education.
