I have learned as a former athlete and current coach that playing sports develops social skills and makes you feel valued by the team because it also gives you a sense of accomplishment. I believe athletics prepares student-athletes for life, develops the athlete to work as a team and become a team player. I feel it can bring out confidence in person. My years of coaching have shown me a passion for working with the student-athletes in my program. I have had the opportunity to see the growth of all of my athletes that I have coached in the past and present with the many opportunities I have been able to offer them. I focus with athletes on communication skills, on being responsible and accountable for their actions. I have shown support to all of my athletes past and present with the goal of being the best student-athlete on and off the field. I believe that sport can offer the most universal and accessible place to rejuvenate and embody great virtues.
