Kathleen A. Laing indicated that students who lack motivation are not willing to try and try in the classroom. Surprisingly, the NDPC found that 43.5% of students expelled from schools in 2006 dropped out due to absenteeism. Why do many students repeatedly absent? CNN Student News host Carl Azuz reported that more than half of American students who are regularly absent say “school is boring.” Students get bored in class because of boring teachers.
