He had to get his sister out of these dreaded woods immediately. Then the bird's soft whistle came from above his head. The bird led her to see her sister; he had to take her home now. Now the bird whistled even louder. Agnes knew what she had to do. "Follow me!" Agnes shouted at Mary. The two girls followed a narrow path when suddenly Agnes recognized that they were returning home. Agnes sighed in relief. Suddenly, Agnes heard a deafening scream coming from her sister's mouth. Maria's tiny feet sank into the ground as a heavy man forcibly dragged her away; he was the kidnapper. The kidnapper must have weighed nearly 250 pounds. He had a jet black balaclava over his face with a black sweatshirt, pants and shoes. His body appeared disproportionate as his legs were stumpy and his torso was long. Agnes' mind raced. He needed to save his sister, but how? Agnes looked around frantically when suddenly she saw the bird perched on a sharp, coarse, medium-sized rock. Agnes lifted the rock and gave the kidnapper a strong blow to the head. The kidnapper looked at Agnes, but then his small black eyes began to roll as he fell to the ground. Mary freed herself from his grasp as he lay unconscious on the ground. The girls made eye contact and then in a split second they were running down the narrow path. The hissing bird hovered above them as the girls ran after it. Then they came to a clearing where they saw a spacious space
