It is stated that the city of Manchester in Kentucky has no YMCA, parks and recreation. They have economic suffrage and everything else is “mostly fast food” (Haygood 1). They continue to be the only food option for people. Even someone like Charlie Rawlins, who went through the experience, had decided to “educate himself about nutrition” since there was no “literature on healthy eating habits” (Haygood 1). In Manchester, this fact makes us understand the effect of fast food on children as it is the only thing available and they have no time to cook. The habits of eating fast food and the advertisements seen everywhere continue, for other people to realize that this is not just happening in a small town in Kentucky but rather the fast food company is putting the life expectancy of the future at risk
