The book I am reading is called Sherlock Holmes, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This book is realistic fiction because Holmes uses real-life clues to solve his mysteries, such as how a girl died on her wedding night. For me it's "just right" because there aren't too many difficult words and I find mysterious stories interesting. Like Dr. Watson, the narrator, "I have always been intrigued by the way Holmes uses deduction." The main figures in this series of stories are Doctor Watson and Holmes. Holmes loves attention and never tells anyone about his methods, so he appears to be psychic. Dr. Watson is a doctor who met Holmes on a previous case and they have been friends ever since. With his knowledge of medicine, he helps Holmes solve cases that have to do with drugs or insanity, especially because “doctors make the best criminals. They have ways of producing undetected poison and can easily leave their patients to die.
