As I write this statement of purpose, I think back to my journey as a student who came from a very humble background and with hard work and sincerity towards academics could pave the way to become a part of the best state engineering university. My winding journey has bred in me ample confidence and today I stand with open arms to embrace further challenges, both personal and professional. Over the past three years of engineering I have developed a great amount of respect and belief for my field: computer science and how it has transformed people's lives. To become one of the industry's biggest contributors to society, I need to have advanced experience and knowledge in the fields that interest me. This school of thought drives me to pursue graduate studies with the goal of improving my technical, intellectual, and philosophical understanding of computer science. I feel absolutely ready for the mental and academic challenge that university studies pose. I am proud to describe my exciting journey into computing. I enrolled for the Computer Science degree in 2010. Since then I have benefited from the breadth of my curriculum which has introduced me to various aspects of Computer Science with challenging opportunities and, in turn, equipped me with a solid foundation of fundamental knowledge in various disciplines and standards. I have had a particular interest in topics such as operating systems, programming languages and computer networks and would not hesitate to stake my claim in these topics. Till now I have maintained a respectable academic record with my CGPA of 8.29. My formidable, fast and precise programming skills have......middle of paper......its own world. In this way I wish to use my energy, talent, hard work and determination for the advancement of the computer field. I am influenced by the work done by professors at Carnegie Mellon University. My goal is to add new dimensions to my current level of knowledge and reach the pinnacle of whatever I can become. Under the guidance of the eminent faculty and opportunities available, I look forward to the world-class academic environment. If I were provided guidance, I am confident that I would expand my research horizon and be able to systematically work on projects that contribute significantly to information technology at Carnegie Mellon University. I hope that the admissions committee finds me not only suitable and suitable, but also proposed to their configuration, both academic and cultural.
