According to Richmond Confidential (2015), the US Attorney General would come to Richmond to "... highlight the city as a national example of how to restore trust between citizens and police". Statistics and community feedback demonstrate that the way Richmond deals with crime shows that the method of dealing with crime in Richmond is what the community wants. Despite the justice that some community members feel, as well as statistics showing that crime has decreased significantly in recent years, there are still problems in dealing with crime and the actions of police officers. Richmond has a great connection between law enforcement and the community, but there are still some who disagree with the justice served by Richmond's criminal justice system. While in some parts of the country, we can see the massive separation between law enforcement and communities, to the extent that the community does not trust officers, protests against policies and has started mass movements. For example, Ferguson is different from Richmond, but we can see an important distinction between judges served in Ferguson and Richmond, as in Ferguson community ties are severed and, at this point, the relationship between judges
