IntroductionThis essay outlines ethical conduct in the workplace, whose chosen business focus was Slater and Gordon (“S&G”). The essay will delve into the ethical issues that S&G, describing the meaning of ethical conduct, understand in a company, and how they deal with them in the company's work environment. Then listing the ethical conduct tools that S&G have set themselves to help in a work environment. I found some tools like; Statement on Code of Conduct, Professional Conduct, Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy, Conflict of Interest, Code of Violation, Gifts and Entertainment, S&G Statements and Legal Compliance. I also had to comment on the implications of Slater's ethical conduct, for the organization and the employees. I then had to come up with some suggestions to improve the policy and procedures. This would lead to improved ethical practices by S&G employees. The ethical conduct that I think of in the Slater and Gordon ("S&G") organization, what the Code of Conduct would be, is that it outlines behaviors for all S&G employees. Slater will conduct its business in a fair, impartial, ethical and fair manner, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and consistent with S&G values. In conducting your business, integrity must be the basis of all business relationships, including those with customers. , suppliers, communities and among employees. Standards of ethical business conduct are expected of S&G employees in carrying out their business responsibilities. Furthermore, we go into detail about the implications of ethical conduct in the workplace, how this would affect the business, the implication of ethical conduct in Slater and Gordon is an obvious connection of both quality management and business ethics, which focus on responsibility of the organization towards the various interested parties. Responsibility discussed in quality management which refers to the organizational responsibility of employees. So let's walk through some policy and procedure improvements that could help the company. All employees are expected to adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and to know and comply with S&G policies and procedures when carrying out business responsibilities.
