This parenting style is full of warmth and communication between child and parent. They have poor discipline, structure, parent-child communication, and few expectations. Sometimes children misbehave just to get the needed attention they are deprived of at home. Permissive parents take orders and instructions from their children, they are passive, they give power to the children. Discipline is minimal and they don't feel responsible for how their children turn out. Ironically, these children turn out to be the unhappiest of all. They are more likely to experience psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. Unfortunately, these children are more likely to commit violence and adopt antisocial behavior.
