Money can make people feel secure, however, money cannot make people happy. Depression, isolation, and guilt are common results of having large amounts of money to protect, preserve, and maintain. Poverty-stricken families are more likely to result in single-parent households, the inability to afford important nutritional foods, unaffordable homes leading to homelessness, and fewer children completing higher education. Poor people are more likely to become criminals. Poverty is a major social problem affecting rural counties in the United States. We should discuss it with everyone and we should take into consideration prevention measures to help the lower social groups
