I am happy to now be free from the constraints of my parents. I'm also grateful that my friend Brenda also attends UCF. Having her around helped me adjust to college. One of the challenges I've faced so far was when I signed up for a strictly online Psychology course over the summer. I struggled with the fast-paced nature of the class and also its online components. I look forward to taking more art classes so I can further my specialization and improve my artistic skills. Being able to experiment with different approaches to art surrounded by other aspiring artists also excites me. I hope to join the illustration club so I can get more involved with creative and like-minded people. My behavior in the classroom was shaped by my experiences. I think my professors would most likely describe me as quiet, attentive, and curious. I usually don't talk much during my classes, because I don't know many people and I want to focus on the course content. I pay attention to my professors when they speak and take the notes they present. I would be described as curious, because I often stay after class to ask questions. Now that I have begun my college journey, I hope to be able to use the challenges I have overcome in the past as learning experiences to further my academic journey.
