Mongolia, commonly known as the land of the blue sky. There they enjoy almost 250 days of sunshine a year. However, their climate is no different from Canada, where they experience extreme weather conditions ranging from 30°C in summer to -45°C in winter, unlike Canada, however, their climate is very dry (Stanfield, 2001) . The country is located longitudinally between Russia and China. Compared to Russia, Mongolia is small, but it is the eighth largest country in the world. Terrain-wise, it is similar to Canada, ranging from mountains to “rolling” plateaus. Like Canada, Mongolia is home to the largest freshwater lakes on the continent (Lake Khövsgöl).
