Argument can be defined as a statement or thesis statement. The purpose of an argument is to convince the audience. It is essential to present valid arguments so that the audience can engage and align with the author's point of view. Therefore, one of the key elements could be identified in public awareness. Another key element is evidence. To persuade the audience, the argument should be consolidated through evidence and authority. The credibility of the author and the argument could be strengthened by using evidence and referring to authorities. The strength of the evidence could determine how valid the arguments are. Furthermore, valid arguments should be logical. First, the evidence should be consistent with the arguments. Second, the structure of the argument should be clear. It consists of a premise and a conclusion. The function of the premise is to state the proposition. The conclusion is based and supported by an accurate premise. In a valid argument, both the premise and the conclusion are valid. However, according to Tyler, Kossen and Ryan (2005: 168) a valid argument is both valid and means logically coherent and true argument. Therefore, the premise of an argument must also be true. Furthermore, counterargumentation could be considered as another key element of a valid argument. The use of counterargumentation in the text can strengthen the writer's argument by discussing and addressing conflicting opinions. However, writers need to make sure that your response to the counterargument is consistent with your main argument. The last element is to avoid mistakes. There are two types of common fallacies, legitimate and illegitimate methods of argument. Both can lead to flaws or imperfections in reasoning and logic. Regarding the third topic, I point to particular groups that are defined as educated and uneducated people. In my argument, I argue that uneducated people could become factors of social instability. From this specific perspective, I believe that lower grades can help these people establish correct values ​​and morals. While presenting my argument, I apply the diagrammatic method to analyze whether my argument is valid or not. To strengthen my position, I did some research before composing my work. I find advantageous evidence to support my opinion. It is an education policy proposed by the federal government to promote education reform. The purpose of this policy is to expand the enrollment of disadvantaged students. I think this evidence could help me support my opinion, so I put it in my last paragraph to reiterate my main thesis.
