I always went to school for 8 hours and came home after or went to work out. Now there are 2 or 3 lessons a day with a lot more homework. That transition didn't surprise me, it was just strange to have so much time in the day. I like the lessons here. The teachers are excellent at what they have to do and treat everyone as if they know them. This is something I had in high school, and I also like this environment here. I don't think the classes are challenging, just more work, which can be a good or bad thing depending on how a person sees it. I really like it because in addition to general classes I take classes that I want to take to get a degree, so it might be more work, but it's more work in a field I would rather learn about unlike high school. I like the time between the two because I have a lot more free time than I thought, which is unique to what I thought it would be. Another thing I like about the lessons is that they are neither too easy nor too challenging. They are intermediate in tone, probably because most of them are general education classes, but I think the difficulty is about right. Sometimes in high school there was one extreme or the other that varied depending on the class, that's why I have 5 classes here, and they all have the same type of difficulty. I like it because it's easier to study and work
