The environment I was used to changed completely because I didn't know anyone and I had a lot of confidence in myself. The intensity of school work had become harder and having no one at home to help me made things impossible. In a way I'm happy that things turned out this way because it forced me to improve my independence and study skills. The school years after freshman year were much better. I knew almost everyone at school, which didn't make me feel alone and I started to have more free time. This made it easier for me to complete my work during school and not have to stay after school as much as before
