We drink hot chocolate and warm ourselves in front of the fireplace while singing and watching the allegorical floats and artists. Once the parade is over, we play Christmas music as we sit by the Christmas tree to open presents while I take photos of everyone's reactions. It's a very special time and a great way to experience the joy people feel from the love you show them, and as my mother always told me, it's the thought that counts. We then spend the rest of the day just bonding and having fun laughing all the while. Sometimes we even go for a walk to the cinema and watch a film we have never seen.
