In a recent report directed by the Council of Economic Advisers it is stated regarding Millennials that “This is the first generation to have had access to the Internet during their formative years. Millennials also stand out because they represent the most diverse and educated generation to date: 42% identify with a different race or ethnicity than non-Hispanic whites, about double the share of the Baby Boomer generation when they were the same age . Approximately 61% of adult Millennials have attended college, while only 46% of Baby Boomers have done so.” (The Council of Economic Advisors,3). We could say that technology was a vital part of Millennials' formative years; not only did it allow us to have all the information we wanted, but it also allowed us to communicate with different people from all over the world, making us a multicultural person receptive to changes in our society. Beyond that, and as I established before, we are also the most educated generation in American history; we can attribute this to our parents pushing us to be excellent and pursue higher education. We can certainly say that being surrounded by technology and the good values that our family taught us has made us evolve and in some cases surpass the older generations.
