We are in a moment in history where all people are considered equal, especially in this country. But even in this “equal world,” women continue to be paid less. If we don't do more actively to help with this issue of gender equality, we will encounter many problems now and in the future. The United States has done a great job of ensuring equal opportunities so women can choose what they want to do. But not all places have done the same.
