“The value of higher education is to make men aware of what was and what is, to incite them to inquire into what might be.”Otto KepplerMechanical Engineering It is an innovative and research-oriented field, the broad and diversified application of this branch has always fascinated me. I have always wanted to be a part of this field and be able to contribute to the same. The more I learned about engineering management during my studies, the more certain I became that a career in this path was right for me. Furthermore, I believe that a master's degree in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering would provide enough opportunities to broaden my intellectual knowledge and would be my first step towards creating something innovative and new. During my university studies, I incorporated solid foundations in the fundamentals of mechanical Engineering and Management subjects which gave me a lot of enthusiasm and passion. My passion for robotics led me to attend robotics workshops that taught me about wired and automated programmed robots. Industrial visits to different manufacturing industries introduced me to application-oriented engineering. Respect for education and inclination towards applied sciences pushed me to opt for mathematics, physics and chemistry in upper secondary school. After completing high school, I felt that Engineering would be the area that would give me the opportunity to learn and explore how the fundamentals of science are applied to create technology for practical, real-world purposes. Furthermore, my innate strengths have always been creative abilities and the power of imagination; which pushed me to adopt a discipline that would allow me to best channel them. Therefore, Mechanical Engineer… half the paper… three quarters of the learning circuit and would provide a solid foundation for the last quarter. Furthermore, interacting with students and faculty from multifaceted cultures and qualifications would introduce me to global standards and competition, develop my personality and increase my competence. I firmly believe that industrial and systems engineering is highly structured and finds the right balance between management studies and practical applications with a primary focus on innovative technologies. I am looking forward to a stimulating career in research which can also be arduous and demanding at times, but I am confident that with my sincerity and dedication I will be able to make a significant contribution to ongoing research and live up to it of the high standards expected in your university. Therefore, I look forward to being a part of your esteemed university.
