In 2010, Phoebe Prince was verbally harassed, threatened, cyberbullied, and even physically assaulted by having a can of Red Bull thrown at her by her peers. These cold and heartless acts led Phoebe to feel so worthless and meaningless that on January 14, 2010, Phoebe committed suicide by hanging herself (Andersen, 2012). Phoebe might have been better prepared to defend herself from each of the aggressive behaviors presented by her attackers if only she had understood how. Schools should spend more time teaching students the tools necessary to see themselves as valuable, beautiful and irreplaceable and how to recognize and use their strengths and uniqueness. Therefore, perhaps children like Phoebe would be able to look inside themselves and win the internal battle that comes with it
